but it wouldn't be as nice as a summer in Ohio...

Hello friends!

So, today is Thursday, May 14th. Today, I am putting all my packed bags and boxes in a pile in the dining room designated as the 'put-this-in-the-car' pile. Tomorrow, I will wake up early, put these bags and boxes into my car, and drive away for my summer in Ohio! Let me tell you I couldn't be more excited. A drive of about seven hours, but don't forget the lunch stop for Bo*jangles, which I won't have for another, oh twelve weeks? .... I can already feel my body deteriorating at the thought of living without fried chicken and legendary sweet tea. :|

Despite losing my regular fix of southern foods, I am immensely excited to hit the road. I just know that I will learn SO much this summer, and I can't wait to meet the new people and see the new places, as I have never been to Ohio.

I made this blog, specifically to update you, my friends and family, on how my summer is going, and also to keep a record for myself so I don't forget anything. My schedule seems to be pretty packed- we're really going to hit the ground running with rehearsals beginning on Saturday- but I want to take as much time as I can to post as often as I can.

I hope you all have a fabulous summer, where ever it takes you, and I can't wait until we're all together again. :)
